Allen Monks

Allen Monks is the owner of Allen’s Import Service shop in Highland Falls, New York. Growing up in Cornwall, Allen spent his time split between fixing old cars and hiking at Storm King Mountain. When Riverkeeper founder, John Cronin, brought his car into Allen’s shop for repair 30 years ago Allen realized that he was in a position to make a difference. Since 1989 Allen has donated 1% of the proceeds of every car that he repairs to Riverkeeper.
