Emily Ascher Rann received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. from New York University, where she majored in English Literature. After graduating law school, Emily served as a Principal Court Attorney in the New York State Supreme Court and then as an Associate Director of the Career Planning Center at Fordham Law School.
Emily became involved with Riverkeeper through her father, and has volunteered in various capacities with the organization over the years. She joined Riverkeeper’s Junior Council in 2011. Emily lives in Greenwich Village with her husband and son.
