Outreach & Education

Riverkeeper works with coalitions of civic and environmental groups to educate and assist citizens and support policy initiatives. We attend public meetings, often submitting comments, and present at a variety of conferences and symposia.

The Ambassador Program

We have a team of trained citizen spokespeople, the Riverkeeper Ambassadors, who represent Riverkeeper at community eventsin NYC and throughout the Hudson River Valley.
