Kara Matthews

Kara Matthews joined Riverkeeper in August 2012. As Development Associate, she spends much of her time on research, while also drafting proposals and reports and assisting with events. Prior to joining Riverkeeper, she spent more than ten years working in public accounting firms in New York. She received an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from Milano School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy. She and her husband now reside in Boiceville, NY, where they are renovating their home into a site-net-zero residence.
