Riverkeeper offers outings aboard its patrol boat, the R. Ian Fletcher, for select groups of college students and researchers during the fall, spring, and summer months depending on availability.

Our patrol boat outings offer an opportunity to explore the River from a unique perspective and learn about:

• the natural and cultural history of the Hudson River Estuary


• the scientific work that is conducted aboard our boat


• specific pollution cases in which Riverkeeper is involved


• complex environmental issues currently facing local communities along the River
