GE PCBs we_are_doing

Riverkeeper has allied with several other leading environmental groups to press the public agenda of an expeditious and thorough cleanup of the Hudson River PCB Superfund site, to be paid for by the General Electric Company. The components of that effort are:

A long list of cities, towns and villages across the Hudson River Valley have come out in favor of cleaning up the Hudson River PCBs now.

Riverkeeper serves as a watchdog of the EPA with regard to its diligence in protecting the Superfund law.

Riverkeeper will continue to apply pressure until GE commits to pay for the cleanup prescribed by the EPA.

With regard to every aspect of the IDR, we demand to know how GE will adequately fill the data gaps, and demand that GE put forward the technical justifications for the arbitrary remedial action components that have been chosen.
