Riverkeeper’s Work to Restore the Wallkill River

Riverkeeper’s Water Quality Program Manager Dan Shapley will give a presentation, “Riverkeeper’s Work to Restore the Wallkill River,” at the February meeting of the Retired Men of New Paltz.

Since 2012, Riverkeeper has worked with community scientists to sample the water quality in the Wallkill River, and Riverkeeper helped to launch the Wallkill River Watershed Alliance, a new citizens group focused on protecting and restoring the river, in 2015.

The meeting is open to the public.
