The Indian Point nuclear power plant, located just 24 miles from New York City, poses serious risks to the environment and public safety in our densely populated region. Indian Point is being considered for a 20-year license renewal in 2012.

Hamilton Fish, Publisher of the Washington Spectator and former Publisher of the Nation magazine, will lead a discussion of Riverkeeper’s campaign to close Indian Point as we head toward critical federal and state hearings on the fate of the plant. The cutting-edge global communications firm Radical Media will preview Riverkeeper’s new public awareness campaign that will challenge myths about the safety, reliability and necessity of Indian Point.

Tickets: $250 per person
Non tax-deductible portion is $125pp.
