Did you know that rainfall can overwhelm the sewer system and cause a combined sewer overflow (CSOs)? That means raw sewage along with pollutants like oil, heavy metals, and litter, dump untreated into Newtown Creek. This educational event will provide a general overview of combined sewer systems, and about green infrastructure.

This event is presented by Grey to Green free Workshops.
