Hudson Valley Undammed: Recoonecting Waters for Eels and River Herring Workshop

Participate in a workshop focusing on dams and dam removal in your area! Join experts for a guided tour and discussion of the aquatic barriers present in the Quassaick Creek Watershed. Learn about the ecology and habitat restoration efforts for Hudson River heritage migratory fish. Activities include an informational session, field exploration of riparian habitats up stream and downstream of Little Falls dam and electrofishing with species identification.

Participants may be asked to wade into shallow waters, and should wear protective clothing and footwear. If you have waders, hip boots, or rubber boots if you have them.
