New York stands at a crossroads: this is our moment to demand that our state invest in our renewable energy future and not in the exploitation of dirty fossil fuels like natural gas.

On Monday, June 17, 2013, citizens from across New York – from Long Island to Niagara Falls – will arrive in Albany to call on Governor Cuomo to reject fracking and lead the nation in constructing a renewable energy economy here and now in New York.

Oil and gas industry stakeholders are betting that the Governor will approve fracking in the Marcellus shale. They are already building pipelines, compressor stations and storage facilities in anticipation.

That is why we need you to come to Albany on June 17th to show the Governor our unified and continued opposition to fracked fossil fuels and support for an energy future built on wind, water and sunlight.

Join us for this historic event as we rally in the East Capitol Lawn and march in the streets surrounding the Capitol building. The moment of power is now!
