Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance Tree Planting

When:
May 21, 2016: 9:30AM to 11:30AM
Where:
Cronomer/Algonquin Park, North of Powder Mill Rd

Just a reminder that QCWA needs volunteers to help plant trees and shrubs along Quassaick Creek this Saturday, 5/21/16, at 9:30AM, at Cronomer/Algonquin Park, north of Powder Mill Rd. The holes will be already dug and tools and instruction will be provided by the Dept. of Environmental Conservation. Please join in this project by the Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance, the DEC “Trees for Tribs” program and Orange County Parks Dept. to help create a stream buffer, and beautify the area. Bring gloves, water, wear sturdy shoes and be prepared to get a little dirty.
There is a parking lot next to the site, by the ball fields.

For any questions call Ted Kohlmann at 845-561-7005 or 845-401-5360.
