Program Description
We will welcome the Seachange: We All Live Downstream Climate Justice Flotilla. Activists from 350.org and Mare Liberum are canoeing down the Hudson from Troy to the People’s Climate March in Manhattan on Sept. 21st stopping at Ports of Call along the way.

Riverkeeper is partnering with the flotilla to catalyze action about the dual threat to both the climate and the river through crude oil transport down the Hudson. Stay tuned after for a presentation about Beacon’s new space for ecological innovation: “The Node” where they will present sustainable economic alternatives for Newburgh.
