Riverkeeper staff attorney Mark Lucas will be among the panelists at a discussion following the showing of Last Call at the Oasis Thursday as part of WAMC’s Food for Thought series. Last Call at the Oasis, a film about the global water crisis, is the latest film from Participant Media, the winner of Riverkeeper’s 2012 Big Fish Award.

Food For Thought is a monthly evening of food, film and discussion with a focus on films of social, political, environmental and community interest.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with live music by Jack Empie and free food samples from Honest Weight Food Co-op. The film begins at 7 p.m. and the panel discussion at 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $8.
