Join Riverkeeper and the Randall’s Island Park Alliance to make NYC shine as part of the Ocean Conservancy’s Annual International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 19.

In 2014, 560,000 volunteers in 91 countries picked up more than 16 million pounds of trash during as part of ICC. The data collected during these cleanups raises awareness, identifies hotspots for debris, and informs policy solutions. 70% of marine debris originated on land and small steps at home can lead to big results.

With YOUR help, we can contribute to this important work by removing debris from the restored Little Hell Gate Salt Marsh and Freshwater Wetland on Randall’s Island.

Accessible by public transportation and surrounded by the Hudson River estuary, Randall’s Island is the perfect location for a shoreline cleanup.

Sign up to volunteer with us! Registered volunteers will receive more information about where to meet and how to dress.
