William Abranowicz
William Abranowicz is a freelance photographer. His work is included in public, corporate, and private collections throughout the world and he has had exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. He is a contributing photographer to Conde Nast Traveler and his work appears regularly in The New York Times Magazine, Martha Stewart Living, Town and Country, Vanity Fair and Elle Decor. His advertising clients include, Target, Banana Republic, Eileen Fisher, Merrill Lynch, Pottery Barn, Ralph Lauren, The Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Giorgio Armani, and IBM. Abranowicz is the author of The Greek File - Images of a Mythic Land, a tribute to the landscapes of Greece (Rizzoli 2001), and a recently completed second volume of images from Greece called Hellas. He is co-author of Indian Clubs (Harry Abrams, 1996) and American Wreaths (Clarkson Potter, 2001). Abranowicz is a graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York and taught photography at Parsons School of Design and The New School. He lives with his wife and three children in Bedford, New York where he is a member of The Town of Bedford's Energy Advisory Panel and volunteers as a firefighter.
