About this location:

This site is located just upstream of the location where the Cairo Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) outfall discharges treated effluent into Catskill Creek. This outfall discharges intermittently. The area immediately surrounding the site is forested, with some agricultural use a short distance upstream and downstream.
