About this location:

This site is located at the boat launch at Benedict Farm Park in Montgomery. The site is just downstream of the Muddy Kill tributary?s confluence with the Wallkill River. The Muddy Kill drains a mostly agricultural subwatershed. At the location of this sampling site on the Wallkill River, land use is a mixture of agricultural, forested and residential. Benedict Farm Park also has a walking trail along the river, ball fields and playgrounds, and it is an archaeologically significant area.
