Riverkeeper highlights plan for replacing Indian Point’s power at senate hearing

It’s time to start planning for replacing Indian Point’s 2000 megawatts of power. The New York State Public Service Commission issued this directive to Con Edison in 2012 as part of Governor Cuomo’s Energy Highway Blueprint, and this was the subject of a public hearing in New York City led by the state senate standing committee on Energy and Telecommunications.
