Ask your Assembly Member to Protect NY’s Water!

NY State Senate has taken action on two very important issues that can help to protect NY’s water from the dangers of fracking. They have passed a “timeout” on permits to fracture wells in New York and also took action to protect our water from wasteful withdrawals. This timeout will give NY the time it needs to create strong protections against the dangers of drilling for natural gas, while the latter will put pressure on proposed wells that will waste billions of gallons of water each year.

So send a letter to your assembly member today to ensure that once he or she reaches Albany, there will be an influx of support for these two new bills. Please, ask your assembly member to choose clean water, not dirty drilling!
