Run, paddle and party! Join us for a 5K in Peekskill

Join your fellow Roadrunners for “The Turf Challenge” 5K Run, as part of Riverkeeper’s “Rally on the River” festivities at Peekskill’s Charles Point on September 21. Start time is 2 p.m. The course runs along the river and through Riverfront Green Park.
After the run, join us for a 5K paddle (“The Surf Challenge”), or revel at the day-long festival at Factoria with the Riverkeeper crew, while we take in a show by Stella Blue’s Band, New York’s premier Grateful Dead tribute show.

$25 registration is required for the 5K “Turf Challenge” run (the 5k paddle requires a separate $25 registration. But you can save $5 when you register for both by taking the “Surf & Turf Challenge!”). The party at Factoria’s River Outpost is free and open to the public.
Proceeds from the 5K run will help:
- Restore the ecosystem in the Hudson River
- Protect drinking water supplies
- Improve public access to the River
