THE LUMINOUS LANDSCAPE 2019: CHRISTIE SCHEELE – ATLAS PROJECT/Forms of Water, is a major solo installation by the artist Christie Scheele, in the Albert Shahinian Fine Art gallery’s 22nd Annual National Invitational Exhibition. The gallery will host a mid-show event to benefit Catskill Mountainkeeper and Riverkeeper regional conservation programs. We invite you to join us for this event to view this wonderful exhibition focusing on water and its environmental, political, and personal meanings.

A portion of the proceeds from the art sales that evening will be donated to Riverkeeper to support our work to protect the Hudson River and its tributaries and to protect the drinking water for millions of New Yorkers; and to Catskill Mountainkeeper, who’s mission is to protect our region’s wild lands and natural resources, support smart development to sustainably grow our economy, nurture healthy communities, and accelerate the transition to a 100% clean energy future in New York and beyond.

The gallery will also hold a raffle for Christie Scheele’s painting: Stormy Sea (12″ x 12″) Raffle tickets can be purchased for $20 at the event and all ticket proceeds will be donated to Catskill Mountainkeeper and Riverkeeper.
