Join Water Now, working with MAMA na DADA (a women’s water coalition), for a fundraiser to help build two water filtration systems and a water catchment system in Kunya, Kenya who are in need of accessible clean drinking water.

Bodies of Water aims to blend water sustainability awareness, activism, arts, and ancestral wisdom to provide a full sensory experience regarding water. This event highlights women artists and performers, including live music by the Mexicana artist Moyenei, and Americana Singer-song writing Mary-Elaine Jenkins, as well as the exhibition of pieces of visual artist Maxi Cohen from her “Movement in Water” series.

In addition to these performances, water activists including Chief Clara Soaring Hawk of the Deer Clan of the Ramapough Lenape Nation, and Grandmother Carole Bubar-Blodgett, who will be embarking on a month long prayer journey for the water starting this June, will provide a water blessing at this event.
