Join the Connie Hogarth Center for Social Action this spring for a 4 part lecture series titled, Climate Under Siege-and What We Can Do About It. Lectures run 5-7pm on Thursdays through February, March and into April.

Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5-7pm in the East Library of Reid Castle-Andrew Revkin, journalist, author, and educator for a talk on “An Overview: Sustainable Options to Fossil Fuels”.

Thursday, March 3 2016 from 5-7pm in the East Library of Reid Castle- Cecil Corbin-Mark, Deputy Director, West Harlem Environmental Action (WEACT) for a talk on “Environmental Justice-Who Gets Hurt the Most”.

Thursday, March 17 2016 from 5-7pm in the East Library of Reid Castle-Betty Lyons, Director of American Indian Law Alliance (AILA) for a talk on “Native American Perspective: Looking Seven Generations Ahead”.

Thursday, April 7 2016 from 5-7pm in the President’s Dining Room of Reid Castle join Paul Gallay, President and Hudson Riverkeeper for a talk titled, “Water-No Life Without It: Global and Local Crises”.
