The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is hosting a public Information Session on the Hudson River PCBs Superfund project and GE’s proposed approach to dredging the landlocked section of river in 2014.
Since the dredging project began in 2009, more than 1.9 million cubic yards of PCB-contaminated sediment have been removed from the Hudson.
