Ever heard of cycling on water to fight plastic pollution? Join Guardians of Flushing Bay as they host international visionary Dhruv Boruah at Flushing Bay. He’ll be picking up trash in the Bay on his floating bicycle to bring awareness to plastic pollution in commemoration of International Coastal Clean-Up Day.

Come to the east side of Flushing Bay Promenade by the boat launch to enjoy an array of family friendly, biking and boating themed activities. Bike New York will lead bike instruction, Kostal Paddle will host community paddling, Billion Oyster Project oysters will be on display, we’ll get your feedback on making the Flushing Bay waterways into a real community resource, and more!

Contact [email protected] with questions. All activities are free, but donations are always welcome.
