Join the Roundout Creek Watershed Alliance with support from Riverkeeper on Saturday, July 20th from 10am – 1pm to volunteer for a clean up and maintenance event at the Clove Valley Extension / Clove Valley at Coxing Kill. The public is invited to attend to learn to plant and maintain future forests.

Participants will be presented with a brief ecological history of the Roundout Creek Watershed, work on enhancing and improving the Coxing Kill, one of its tributaries, and learn practical ways to plant and maintain diverse forest ecologies on public and private land to improve water quality, plant and animal diversity, as well as mitigating erosion.

Volunteers are invited to help with basic maintenance and should bring hand pruners if they have them. Please dress to be outside on the Coxing Kill.
