Hemlock trees are integral to our forest ecosystems and provide habitat to brook trout and numerous other fish, birds, mammals and invertebrates. However, they are threatened by an invasive forest pest called the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA). Warming temperatures have favored HWA’s spread and we need your help to keep track of the impact HWA is having on our forests to make an informed management plan!
