Riverkeeper protects and restores the Hudson River from source to sea and safeguards drinking water supplies, through advocacy rooted in community. Since its inception in 1966, the organization has lowered pollution levels, brought back swimming and boating, and ensured that over nine million New Yorkers have clean, safe drinking water.

Billion Oyster Project is restoring oyster reefs to New York Harbor in collaboration with New York City communities.
