Harlem River Watershed Conference

Whether you live or work in the Harlem River Watershed, you are
invited to join the conversation about the future of the Harlem
River.

You are invited to the Bronx Council for Environmental Quality two-part conference on Wednesday March 22 from 3-7 pm at Manhattan College
Leo Engineering Building. The first session from 3-5pm is for
business/commercial entitites, and the next from 5-7pm is for
community advocates. The program is free and open to the public.
Refreshments will be served courtesy of our corporate sponsor,
ConEdison.

We have invited a special guest speaker who has experience in this
work. James Foster is the President of the Anacosta Watershed
Society and is responsible for implementing the organization’s
strategic plan, articulating their vision for a swimmable and
fishable Anacostia River, securing resources, and building and
leading the AWS staff in fulfilling their mission to clean the water,
restore the shore, and honor the heritage of the Anacostia River.
