Join Ossining Boat & Canoe Club for a guest presentation by Riverkeeper’s Dan Shapley, on achieving the Clean Water Act’s “fishable, swimmable, drinkable” goals for Ossining’s water and the Hudson River.

In the 50th anniversary year of the CWA, there is still more we need to do for the Hudson River and our drinking water sources. Ossining relies on the Indian Brook and Croton reservoirs as the source of its drinking water. Learn more about the status of Ossining’s drinking water source protection efforts, the Hudson River water quality data Riverkeeper and Columbia University have gathered for years, and the state of signature fish species like striped bass, shad, and sturgeon.
