Hudson River 50 – NYC’s Ultra Trail Race – Course Preview and Cleanup

Trials of Miles, a wonderful new partner and 2022 Riverkeeper Sweep Sponsor will host its inaugural Hudson River 50 ultra trail race this year on October 1, with a percentage of the race proceeds being donated to support our work to clean up the Hudson River.

On April 30, Trials of Miles and Riverkeeper will do a course preview day/hike and river sweep clean up project at the Palisades Interstate Park. Riverkeeper will provide necessary staff/equipment to organize a trash pickup. Anyone who attends the sweep project and registers for the Hudson River 50 will get $30 off their registration for the race.

In its inaugural year the Hudson River 50 on October 1, 2022, aims to bring a world class ultra trail race to New York City’s own backyard. Starting and finishing on the banks of the Hudson River, with views of the New York City skyline, the race will consist of two 25 mile loops, along the Long Path and Shore Trail in the Palisades Interstate Park. There is also a 25 mile option for anyone who wants to just race a single loop.
