Interested in kayaking but never had a chance to try it? Not sure what kind of kayak you want? Already have a kayak but thinking about upgrading? This is the event for you! Kenco and Kingston Parks and Recreation have joined forces to present to you the Kingston Kayak Festival. Just a $10 donation for a full day of fun!
Donations support the City of Kingston Environmental Education Program.
Kayak experts from Kenco and reps from our kayak companies will be on hand to guide you to your perfect kayak. Try different types of kayaks right on the Hudson River, so you can really get a feel for what makes each kayak different.
Plus, try out the latest craze: stand up paddleboards. Kenco will be offering great discounts and show specials on kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, racks and accessories. Take a look at our deal boats available now.
Join Kingston’s Mayor Steve Noble, or KC from Kingston Parks and Rec, on a guided kayak tour. Kayaks, paddles, PFDs will be provided. There will also be various clinics, lessons and demonstrations. Test paddle kayaks from Wilderness Systems, Dagger, Perception, Hurricane, NuCanoe, Jackson and more. We’ll also have Slipstream at the store on Sunday to demo their customizable, handbuilt canoes on our pond.
This event is made possible by the Kingston Department of Parks and Recreation, the ADK Mid-Hudson Chapter, and Kingston Paddle Pals.
