Friday Talk Series: The State of Hudson River Fish

The Ossining Boat and Canoe Club Friday Talks series is starting up again as Dr. George Jackman, Senior Habitat Restoration Manager at Riverkeeper, discusses striped bass population and management, information on what caused the menhaden die-off in recent years, and information on local restoration projects for herring and eel, including Furnace Brook dam removal.

Open to the public. Doors open at 7pm, talk will begin around 7:30.

The best option for parking is Metro North – and lots are free after 6pm.

Drinks and snacks will be available.

Limited seating available. First come, first serve. Masks are recommended, but not required if vaccinated.
