Tim will be joined by Riverkeeper’s Campaign Advocacy Coordinator, Jeremy Cherson to discuss local actions people can take to move forward on clean energy and protect the regions clean water.

Founded by Nobel Laureate and former Vice President Al Gore, the Climate Reality Project (www.climaterealityproject.org/) is a diverse group of individuals who seek to catalyze a global solution to the climate crisis by supporting urgent action across every level of society.

Guinee’s presentation will use the same deck of images that Vice President Al Gore uses when the tours the country to talk about climate change. Afterwards, Guinee will lead a panel discussion among local experts about the implications of climate change for the Hudson Valley.

This event is co-sponsored by the Marbletown Environmental Conservation Commission and the Rondout Permaculture Meetup.
