Water Quality and Onsite Wastewater Systems

This workshop will provide an introduction to onsite wastewater treatment systems (often called septic systems), and education and management options for ensuring the effective operation of onsite systems.  It will include an overview of relevant laws and regulations, several case studies, and a discussion of the US EPA Voluntary National Guidelines for Management of Onsite and Clustered (Decentralized) Wastewater Treatment Systems.
