Let us know you'll be joining us!

Join Riverkeeper as we celebrate the 2019 Riverkeeper Water Quality sampling season and the volunteer partners who make it possible to gather samples from more than 400 locations in the Hudson River and its tributaries.

Meet us at the Chapman Museum at 2:00pm sharp where we will enjoy the opening of the Smithsonian Institution’s “Water/Ways”, a traveling exhibit that “takes a deep look at this essential component of life on our planet, which powers the environment’s engine, impacts climate and helps shape and sculpt the landscape. Humans and animals rely on water for health, hydration, food supplies, and hygiene.”

Following the exhibit, come with us to Common Roots brewery for a beer and snacks. The first beer for community scientists is on us! There will be a Water Quality Sampler Award and the Riverkeeper Water Quality team staff will be on hand to talk about their work.  Bring your friends and loved ones out to celebrate the hard work of our Community Scientists and our shared commitment to clean water.

This event is free and open to all.
