Join us to express your concerns about the Atlantic Bridge Project, the second planned expansion of the Algonquin pipeline system following the Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) Project. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has begun environmental review of the Atlantic Bridge Project, and will hold a public scoping session in Yorktown Heights on May 11.
This is an opportunity for members of the public to tell the Commission their concerns about the project and request a comprehensive environmental review.
The Atlantic Bridge Project spans New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. It would entail an additional five miles of construction in New York, including four miles within the NYC drinking water supply watershed. Construction risks harming water quality by cutting through wetlands and waterbodies and increasing stormwater runoff.
Information session: 5:30pm
Public scoping: 6:30pm
