Join in virtual celebration with the Lower Hudson Partnership as we raise a pint to the water quality stewards who fuel our community monitoring programs, and dig into the world of green infrastructure.

beer tasting-screening graphicThis screening will kick off with a tasting and toast of beers from partnering Gun Hill Brewery and Captain Lawrence Brewery followed by the screening of film portions from Water Blues, Green Solutions and Stormwater Pollution & Green Infrastructure. The segments of the films highlight the question of how communities have successfully implemented green infrastructure.

The event will conclude with a moderated panel discussion about Westchester County infrastructure with guests MaryJane Shimsky (Westchester County Legislator, 12th District), Oded Holzinger (Groundwork Hudson Valley), Rebecca Pryor (Guardians of Flushing Bay/Riverkeeper), and Emily Vail (Hudson River Watershed Alliance).

TASTING DETAILS: The screening will kick off with a tasting and toast of one beer each from our partners at Gun Hill Brewing Company and Captain Lawrence Brewing Company.
