Dar Williams, the beloved Hudson Valley singer-songwriter and activist, is debuting songs from her upcoming studio album, In The Time of Gods, in New York City on May 5, and sales of a limited number of the best seats in the house will benefit Riverkeeper’s Close Indian Point campaign.

The first 50 VIP seats go on sale Feb. 16 for $125. VIP tickets include prime seating for the show at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, a copy of In The Time of Gods, a hand-signed Dar Williams poster, a commemorative VIP laminate — and a chance to meet Dar after the show! A portion of the VIP ticket price is also donation to Riverkeeper’s Close Indian Point campaign.

Purchase tickets at tixx1.artistarena.com/darwilliams.

The May 5 show at the Skirball Center will be East Coast fans’ first opportunity to hear Dar Williams perform songs from the new CD, her first studio album of original material in four years. Produced by Kevin Killen (U2, Elvis Costello, and Peter Gabriel), and featuring special guests Shawn Colvin and Larry Campbell, In The Time of Gods explores many of today’s most challenging social issues told against the parables of Greek mythology. The inimitable collection of songs includes some of the richest and most evocative writing of Williams’ career.
