The White Plains-based WESPAC Foundation is hosting an anti-fracking festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next to the Ossining Farmers Market on Market Square this Saturday, October 6. The festival is themed “For the Love of Water,” and will include speeches from Riverkeeper’s own Mackenzie Schoonmaker, Susan Van Dolsen from Westchester for Change, and Village of Ossining Trustee Bob Daraio. The event is open to the public and will feature children’s art and nature activities as well as live music.

Riverkeeper will have a table at the event where you can learn more about our work to keep fracking out of New York. You can join the grassroots movement that is standing up against fracking across the state by getting involved with Riverkeeper as a member, volunteer, or clean water advocate.
