Join Riverkeeper’s Watershed Program Director Kate Hudson for a screening of “Gasland,” the documentary about fracking, as part of the Beacon Theatre’s 2nd Annual Freeze Frame Film Festival.
The movie airs at 2 p.m. and it will be followed by a panel discussion at 4 p.m. led by Riverkeeper’s Kate Hudson and David Braun, the film’s grassroots coordinator.
Tickets for Saturday events cost $15 for adults, $12 for students. Other films that will air Saturday include Immokalee U.S.A. at 7 p.m., and a performance by the band Phineas and the Lonely Leaves at 10 p.m. Tickets that cover events for the whole weekend cost $25.
