Lower Hudson Ambassador Workshop

January 31, 2015: 10:00AM to 12:00PM
Riverkeeper Office, 20 Secor Rd. Ossining, NY
To Attend:

Ambassador Workshop Description:
Ambassador workshops are designed for existing Ambassadors to deepen their knowledge and improve their skills in advocating for the Hudson River. We also encourage new advocates to attend and learn about two crucial issues facing the Hudson: crude oil transport and sewage contamination. The workshop will focus on improving communications skills through hands on practice and breakout groups to focus on specific skills.

Why Hold Ambassador Workshops?
Attending community events is an important way for Riverkeeper to build awareness about our work and recruit new clean water advocates, members, and volunteers to be a part of this movement. We want to help you become the best advocate for the cause of a clean and safe Hudson River.

Riverkeeper Ambassadors will research community events, professionally represent Riverkeeper, recruit new volunteers and mobilize their neighbors into action.

We welcome anyone passionate about Riverkeeper’s mission to become a Riverkeeper Ambassador.
