Public Hearing on CAFO Permit Requirements

The public will have an opportunity to comment on Governor Cuomo’s recent proposal to remove permit requirements for medium Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) at public hearings happening in four locations in January.

The Governor’s plan will weaken the clean water protection standards that New Yorkers have spent decades fighting for. Make your voice heard on this harmful regulatory rollback on January 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at one of the following locations:
