Join Riverkeeper in partnership with the Kingston Homeport and Educational Center at Hudson River Maritime Museum as we celebrate the 2019 Riverkeeper Water Quality sampling season and the volunteer partners who make it possible to gather samples from more than 400 locations in the Hudson River and its tributaries.

There will be a Water Quality Sampler Award and a presentation and screening of the new short film A Living River from National Geographic Filmmaker Jon Bowermaster that chronicles the efforts of Riverkeeper, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and others to restore the life and the ecosystem in the Hudson River.  A panel including Bowermaster and Riverkeeper’s Captain John Lipscomb to follow.

The Riverkeeper Water Quality team and Hudson River Maritime Museum staff will be on hand to talk about their work.  Bring your friends and loved ones out to celebrate the hard work of our Community Scientists and our shared commitment to clean water.

Riverkeeper’s community scientists may attend for free, however, for those not yet a part of our community science program there is a suggested donation of $10 to the Hudson River Maritime Museum.
