Webinar

Join Riverkeeper Paul Gallay and Hudson River Program Director Phillip Musegaas for an important webinar on Monday, October 21. This 45-minute remote session will give you a broad update on Riverkeeper’s current happenings as well as a more substantive update on our efforts to shut down Indian Point nuclear power plant. There will be a particular focus on how you can become involved.

Learn about the state’s coastal consistency review, which has the potential to expedite the shutdown of Indian Point–and about the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s “waste confidence rule,” which allows for the indefinite storage of highly radioactive waste at Indian Point and other U.S. reactors. Both important issues are open for public comment this fall, and this is your chance to get informed.

Register for the 3pm session.

Register for the 7pm session.

We are offering two different sessions to accommodate varying schedules.
