SAVE Colonie, A Partnership for Planning, a citizen group promoting good governance and public engagement, has been working to bring to light information about the Town’s efforts to sell the Stony Creek Reservoir, located in the town of Clifton Park, and owned and operated by Colonie’s Latham Water District since 1953.

SAVE will hold an online forum with water resource experts to explore the consequential issue of water supply. The forum will be live streamed on Facebook at: https://fb.me/e/vW9tvbNA

The panel will include:

• Union College Professor of Geology John Garver, Mohawk River expert
• Jen Epstein, Water Quality Program Scientist for Riverkeeper
• Bill Carlos, Poughkeepsie Town Board member and a founder of the Hudson River Drinking Water Intermunicipal Council, or “Hudson 7.”

A brief video tour of the Stony Creek Reservoir will be shown, and there will be time for audience questions after the talks. Further details will be announced on SAVEColonie.com and the SAVE Facebook page.
