Sarah Lawrence College Center for the Urban River at Beczak, 35 Alexander Street, Yonkers, NY map

Riverkeeper is partnering with the Sarah Lawrence College Center for the Urban River at Beczak (CURB) to test for fecal contamination in the Saw Mill River from headwaters to mouth. This program will expand on sampling by CURB and the Yonkers Paddling and Rowing Club, in cooperation with the New York City Water Trail Association, in the daylighted Saw Mill River and along the Yonkers waterfront, as well as past sampling done by Groundwork Hudson Valley and the Saw Mill River Coalition. Join us at this event to learn about Riverkeeper’s water quality monitoring partnerships throughout the Hudson Valley, our regional findings, and how to participate in water quality testing in the Saw Mill River Watershed.
