Wallkill River Water Quality Presentation

When:
January 14, 2014: 7:30PM to 8:30PM
Where:
Shawangunk Town Hall, 14 Central Avenue, Wallkill, NY map

Riverkeeper’s Water Quality Program will present information about our ongoing Wallkill River monitoring project, which is conducted in conjunction with citizen partners throughout Ulster and Orange Counties.

The presentation is being made at the request of the Town of Shawangunk Environmental Management Council. The presentation is free and open to the public.

The Wallkill River flows out of New Jersey and through Orange and Ulster Counties in New York, before meeting the Rondout Creek and forming the largest tributary to the tidal Hudson River.

Water quality data for the seven tributaries Riverkeeper samples with citizen partners will be available at riverkeeper.org, along with our data from 74 locations on the Hudson River, this winter.

If you have questions about the Wallkill River monitoring project, contact Jennifer Epstein at [email protected].
