The Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance, in collaboration with the DEC, will be planting 140 trees and shrubs along the Quassaick Creek on Sunday, May 22, starting at 10:30 AM. The site is located on Mill St. in the Town of Newburgh.  To volunteer in on this conservation effort, please email John Gebhards, [email protected], or Ted at [email protected].

No house # is available at the site, but coordinates are 41.58474N, -74.07695W, and directions from the intersection of Rt. 52 and Rt. 300 are as follows: Head north on Rt. 300 for 0.9 miles. At the traffic light continue straight on Rt. 32 for 1.9 miles, then turn left onto Mill St. and go less than a 1/2 mile and you will see the pond and planting site on the left.
